Company Overview

Inotec is a bio-remediation and bio-treatment company that combines patented and proprietary new concepts in water treatment to provide site specific custom treatment systems to remove metals and inorganics from industrial waters. Inotec has an exclusive license for a new concept in water treatment, the patented Electro-Biochemical Reactor (EBR) technology that significantly improves microbial processes and already proven conventional bio-treatment systems.

We address sampling and monitoring requirements, treatment assessments, technology evaluations and screening, tiered testing programs and technology implementations during various mining stages; pre-mining permitting through closure activities. We also provide design, development, testing, and implementation of site-specific blends of conventional, patented and proprietary concepts in water treatment for mining, power generation and refining sectors. Inotec’s goals are to reduce mining and other industries costs in a manner that provides our clients "more" than they ask for or expect and to value our client’s time and resources. Company products and services create customer value by permitting industry to continue profitable operation in a climate of growing public and government scrutiny of their environmental impacts.

Collaborations, Teaming, and Service Agreements
We have secured several non-exclusive service and collaboration agreements with some of the world’s leading consulting, project management, and engineering firms. These agreements were a crucial step in ensuring that Inotec’s EBR technology can be delivered to the global market in accordance with best engineering practices, by a collaboration of experienced teams that have established track records and have earned the trust of the industrial clients.

We have also entered into collaborative non-disclosure agreements with several geotechnical consulting firms. Lorax Environmental, Piteau Associates, and HGL are renowned in the mining industry for providing geotechnical, water management, environmental consulting and engineering, and project management services. They assist their clients throughout the life-cycle of a mine, from project permitting stage through water management during active operation to project closure and reclamation. Collaboration with Inotec is mutually beneficial; should their client require metals and inorganics site water treatment, they can offer the EBR technology as a cost-effective alternative.

Management Philosophy
Inotec’s principals maintain University of Utah faculty involvement; we keep close ties to the University and its facilities, which enhance the company’s research and development efforts. Inotec is an attractive employer for recent college graduates; we work with local colleges, universities, and even high schools, to recruit new talent. We offer internships and extensive laboratory and field training to new employees. Employee retention is high at Inotec; we offer competitive pay for entry-level positions, flexible work schedule, and offer career guidance through in-depth annual performance reviews. Inotec recognizes that its employees are a crucial ingredient to the quality and success of its products and services. It is our commitment to support the development of our staff, both professionally and personally, and in doing so create an organization with the ability to exceed the expectations of the company, the individual and our clients.

Business Ethics
Inotec will continue in the founders’ tradition of working closely with mining company higher management, environmental and closure managers, and site operators to make sure that all their needs are met and technologies are implemented correctly. Corporate philosophy is to provide the best professional service available at the most reasonable price. Our goal is that every contract be a win-win situation, in which both parties feel good about value received/provided and the professionalism of the product or service. All projects are treated in a professional, cost-effective manner.
